When someone joins because of you and completes a trade worth $5,000 AUD or more, you earn $50 AUD.
Anyone with an audience or network connected to scrap metal, recycling, waste management, or industrial trading: content creators, industry consultants, trade publications, procurement professionals, and scrap yard owners who deal with other yards and traders. If your audience buys or sells scrap, this is built for you.
$50 AUD for every person who joins through you and completes a qualifying trade of $5,000 AUD or more. There's no cap on the number of people you can refer: the more genuine signups who go on to trade, the more you earn.

For now, we'll register you as an affiliate and agree on how new members should reference you when they sign up (typically: they mention your name or email when they register, or in their first message to our support team), so every referral is correctly tracked back to you.
They're two different programs for two different situations. Refer-and-earn is for existing ScrapTrade users introducing individual people they know personally, and pays $100 AUD on a $10,000 AUD trade. The affiliate program is for anyone (including people who've never used ScrapTrade themselves) actively promoting the platform to a wider audience, and pays $50 AUD on a $5,000 AUD trade. If you're telling one friend about ScrapTrade, use refer-and-earn; if you're promoting to an audience, this is the one.
A trade (buying or selling) that has fully settled through ScrapTrade's escrow, with a total value of $5,000 AUD or more. Deals still in negotiation, unpaid auctions, or cancelled trades don't qualify.
By bank transfer, after our team confirms a referred member's trade meets the $5,000 AUD minimum. We'll email you to confirm payout details before sending payment.
No. Unlike the refer-and-earn program, you don't need your own trading account to promote ScrapTrade as an affiliate. You just need an audience or network worth reaching.
